Slaithwaite Cricket Club is part of the Drakes Huddersfield league which is the premier cricket competition in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England and the club that Steve played 5 consecutive seasons at as a semi-professional player throughout his prominent cricket career.  During those 5 seasons he was not only well respected as a player but also as an integral part of the cricket community.

Steve continues to take an interest in his old Club and is pleased to be able to show his appreciation and strong commitment to supporting and investing in the future of Slaithwaite Cricket.

Mace Building's sponsorship, at this point, has gone towards raising the funds for purchasing new wicket covers for the Club.  Steve aspires to continue to provide financial support which he hopes will enrich the talent and cricket facilities of this community that have treated him so well.
